New Director Elected to ATMC Board

Shallotte, N.C. – James H. “Jamie” Milliken, Board President for ATMC, has announced that Michelle Ingram has been elected to serve on the ATMC Board of Directors. Mrs. Ingram was elected to represent District 6 (Bolivia, St. James), filling a seat that had recently been left vacant following the retirement of Douglas H. Hawes, former Board President.

A longtime resident of Brunswick County, Mrs. Ingram received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Ingram has worked in the North Carolina Judicial System for more than two decades and currently serves as a project manager with the State of North Carolina. She is a founding member of the Brunswick County Opioid Task Force, serves on the Board of Visitors for UNC Pembroke, co-chairs the Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation, and is an appointee of the Sunset Harbor Fire Board.

Mrs. Ingram commented that she is excited to be representing District 6 on ATMC’s Board of Directors. She added, “I look forward to serving on the Board of Directors for ATMC. ATMC has always been a leader in this community, I am grateful for the opportunity to represent the members of this cooperative.”

Mr. Milliken added, “We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Ingram to the Board of Directors at ATMC. She has worked to serve citizens of Brunswick County for many years and we know she will do the same to serve ATMC members. We look forward to working with her.”

Mrs. Ingram and her husband, Sheriff John Ingram, reside in Bolivia with their son Grant.
